The main purpose of elemental boost is to increase the attack power of Dark Elf troops. There are different types of elemental boosts that can be used by the Dark Legion. Dark Legion units that can use elemental boost include Dark Elf Archers, Dark Elf Fighters, and Dark Elf Knights. These boosts can be used to overpower your enemy by paying 200 SP every time you power up. The Dark Elves can use the elemental boosts of Curse, Ice, Earth, Fire, Lightning, and Holy. Keep in mind, when deciding on which element to use for elemental boost for the main Player-Controlled hero troop, the experience has to be greater or the priority has to be greater depending on the elements. So for example, a main Player-Controlled hero (i.e. Leinhart) has 2 Dark Elf officers, one with 5 Fire and the other with 5 Lightning. The troop of the main Player-Controlled hero, in this case, will have an elemental boost of Fire, because Fire has a greater priority over Lightning.

Curse Edit

(Priority Over: None)

Can only be learned and used when the main Player-Controlled hero has Dark Elf troops, and has an officer that comes with or can learn Curse (Lich, Orc, Ogre, Cirith, and/or Morene). This is the only time a player can control a unit with a Curse elemental boost. Although, Computer-Controlled enemy Dark Elf Archers with Dark Elf leaders, Dark Elf Fighters with Dark Elf leaders, and Dark Elf Knights with Dark Elf Leaders can use Curse elemental boost, you cannot with Dark Elf leaders alone.

Player/Computer-Controlled Dark Elf Fighter/Dark Elf Knight: Appears as a fuchsia colour which transitions to orange emanating from troops' right hand. When the enemy is hit with Curse, a dark blue and red puff will disappear and re-appear over the enemy which indicates that they are "cursed." While "cursed," the enemy's offensive and defensive resistances will be reduced to near 0 for a limited time.

Computer-Controlled Enemy Dark Elf Archer Only: Appears as a fuchsia colour which transitions to orange emanating from troops' right hand. Arrows fired have a turquoise trail. When the enemy is hit with Curse, a dark blue and red puff will disappear and re-appear over the enemy which indicates that they are "cursed." While "cursed," the enemy's offensive and defensive resistances will be reduced to near 0 for a limited time.

Ice Edit

(Priority Over: Earth, Curse) - Note: effective against unarmoured units, such as some Orc and human units.

Can be learned and used by every Dark Elf Archer, Dark Elf Fighter, and Dark Elf Knight.

Player/Computer-Controlled Dark Elf Fighter/Dark Elf Knight: Appears as a light blue colour emanating from troops' right hand. When the enemy is hit with Ice, they will turn a shade of light blue, which indicates that they are "frozen." While "frozen," the enemy will become immobile for a limited time.

Player/Computer-Controlled Dark Elf Archer: Appears as a light blue colour emanating from troops' right hand. Arrows fired have a light blue trail. When the enemy is hit with Ice, they will turn a shade of light blue, which indicates that they are "frozen." While "frozen." the enemy will become immobile for a limited time.

Earth Edit

(Priority Over: Curse) - Note: effective against all Dark Elf units.

Can be learned and used by every Dark Elf Archer, Dark Elf Fighter, and Dark Elf Knight.

Player/Computer-Controlled Dark Elf Fighter/Dark Elf Knight: Appears as a light green colour emanating from troops' right hand. When the enemy is hit with Earth, they will turn a shade of light green, which indicates that they are "poisoned." While "poisoned," the enemy's HP will gradually decrease for a limited time.

Player/Computer-Controlled Dark Elf Archer: Appears as a light green colour emanating from troops' right hand. Arrows fired have a pink trail. When the enemy is hit with Earth, they will turn a shade of light green, which indicates that they are "poisoned." While "poisoned," the enemy's HP will gradually decrease for a limited time.

Fire Edit

(Priority Over: Lightning, Earth, Ice, Curse)

Can be learned and used by every Dark Elf Archer, Dark Elf Fighter, and Dark Elf Knight.

Player/Computer-Controlled Dark Elf Fighter/Dark Elf Knight: Appears as a yellow-orange colour emanating from troops' right hand. When the enemy is hit with Fire, they will turn a shade of red-orange, which indicates that they are "on fire," While "on fire," the enemy's HP will decrease, and they will not be able to attack for a limited time.

Player/Computer-Controlled Dark Elf Archer: Appears as a yellow-orange colour emanating from troops' right hand. Arrows fired have a red trail. When the enemy is hit with Fire, they will turn a shade of red-orange, which indicates that they are "on fire." While "on fire," the enemy's HP will decrease, and they will not be able to attack for a limited time.

Lightning Edit

(Priority Over: Earth, Ice, Curse) - Note: effective against armoured human units.

Can be learned and used by every Dark Elf Archer, Dark Elf Fighter, and Dark Elf Knight.

Player/Computer-Controlled Dark Elf Fighter/Dark Elf Knight: Appears as a light purple colour emanating from troops' right hand. When the enemy is hit with Lightning, they will turn a shade of purple, which indicates that they are "electrocuted." While "electrocuted," the enemy will straggle, and their HP will decrease for a limited time.

Player/Computer-Controlled Dark Elf Archer: Appears as a light purple colour emanating from troops' right hand. Arrows fired have a light purple trail. When the enemy is hit with Lightning, they will turn a shade of purple, which indicates that they are "electrocuted." While "electrocuted," the enemy will straggle, and their HP will decrease for a limited time.

Holy Edit

(Priority Over: N/A (cannot be learned by the Player)) - Note: this form of elemental boost is tantamount to the humans' Holy Explosion skill. Effective against undead units, such as Orc Ghouls and Bone Dragons.

Can only be learned and used by Computer-Controlled enemy Dark Elf Archers, Dark Elf Fighters, and Dark Elf Knights.

Computer-Controlled Enemy Dark Elf Fighter/Dark Elf Knight Only: Appears as a white puff emanating from troops' right hand. Regenerates HP of the troop for a while, and increases their defensive resistance. 

Computer-Controlled Enemy Dark Elf Archer Only: Appears as a white puff emanating from troops' right hand. Arrows fired have a white trail. Regenerates HP of the troop for a while, and increases their defensive resistance.
