Longbowmen

The Longbowmen unit is basically an upgraded archer unit. With longer range, they can attack units from farther away, and as such are able to engage the enemy sooner, as well as support allies. And with better armor, they can last longer in melee combat, so if the player does not notice that they are under attack, they will be much better off than if they were normal archers.
